Masters Degree - Journalism
I hear you are quite successful in finding the right person for your clients?
"Helping clients find the love of their lives and coaching them through it is so rewarding! I am so lucky that I get to do this for a living!
I am a certified matchmaker and certified dating coach.
I cater to an elite clientele of professionals looking to find true love in New York and Connecticut. Their time is their currency and I recognize that."
What made you decide to get into matchmaking and coaching?
"My background is in journalism - I have a master's degree from Columbia University - and was a reporter when I started working as a coach part time about 15 years ago.
It was a hobby then and it started after I hired a dating coach myself to get help for a major dating conundrum. Later, when the coach offered to train me to help others, I took the course.
It was something I lived and breathed and loved. The first thing I wanted to do in the morning.
I began helping women and then last year branched out into helping men. I added the exclusive matchmaking service because not finding the right person seems to be one of the biggest complaints from my coaching clients.
What sets men apart from women regarding dating?
"Men are picky about looks. Women are picky about everything.
One of the most fascinating things about being a dating coach and matchmaker is that I get to see - up close and personal - just how different men and women are.
My coaching helps bridge differences and expectations, so that my clients build realistic and satisfying relationships!"
How do you find your clients the right person?
"Many clients are disenchanted with dating, done with the games and serious about finding a great relationship.
I do all the work for them.
I am a member of an extensive network of matchmakers and have a large database of clients. I introduce them to people they ordinarily would not meet on their own.
I'm their personal cheerleader, get them great dates and find them lasting love. You can't put a price on the service!

Publicity Crash Course 101
Are you a coach or small business owner struggling to get to the next level?
Starting Monday, I will take aspiring entrepreneurs on a 4-week journey to up their game big time by teaching them how to get media exposure that will elevate their business.
More press means more eyeballs on your business and more clients. It also helps with your SEO and raises your business profile.
You want to be seen as the expert in your business, and I will teach you how to get the rest of the world to see you as that expert.
Many business owners -and people in general - fear the press (they may distrust it and don’t understand it), and they dislike writing, so this piece of the puzzle is often missing.
It’s a huge piece that is often ignored, which is a shame because just a few articles and media appearances can catapult you to another level in your business.
Once you have a few pieces out there - a radio appearance here or there or a few electronic articles on a niche website - other reporters start noticing and they give you a call (or email). If you have been quoted a few times already, a reporter will feel like you are already vetted and they will think you are a good bet to quote for their article too.
When I started my dating coaching and matchmaking business, I had an advantage because I used to be a reporter, editor and advice columnist. I have a broadcast degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Hanging out with reporters is fun for me, definitely not intimidating. That was my world for more than a decade. Day in and day out, I was that person on the other side of the phone, taking calls from business owners, publicists, politicians and celebrities who wanted to pitch me stories. I know how reporters think, and I know how to pique their interest. I also know what irks them about pitches, and will let you in on the secrets I have learned.
I get calls from the media frequently when they want a quote from a dating expert or a love expert, and at this point I don’t even actively seek them out any longer. The momentum is there.
Because of the press I get, I am now known as a go-to dating expert who the members of the press - from the New York Post to smaller niche dating sites for women, like Bustle, to everything in between- contact when they need a quote or a sound bite, or a guest on a podcast.
I can show you how to do this for yourself, so you get more eyes on your business.
More eyes means more clients and that’s what you want!!
We will go over many things during the course, including:
My inside tips on how to get the attention of the media (print and electronic)
Why there is no reason in the world to be intimated by the press. I will teach you how to be comfortable when talking to a reporter or host, and will explain why there is nothing to fear.
Do’s and don’ts when talking to a reporter or host on a TV or radio show (Take it from me, I know how to not let the press intimidate you. I also know exactly what type of quotes and sound bites they are looking for).
Why it’s better to start now, than to wait until you have perfected your business or your courses.
Ways to prepare for interviews. And much more!
I have two more spots open, and will be starting this courses on Monday. If you are interested, PM me or type yes here, and I will get back to you so I can answer any questions you may have. Please share if you think a friend can benefit from the course.
