What inspired you to help women?
"As a former ABC anchorwoman and investigative reporter, I met many female related challenges in the workplace. It was the late 70's early 80's when women were not particularly welcomed.
I took on many risky endeavors which resulted in my car getting bombed.
On a trip to the Ivory coast of Africa I had to take cover as natives did not appreciate me and my crews' presence.
I left the field in the early 80's and continued my education at New York University in clinical psychotherapy. Afterward I studied at the prestigious William Alanson White Institute in New York City in Freudian-based Theory. I also completed many workshops at the Jungian Institute and specialized in dream interpretation.
In private practice since 1992, I developed many varied workshops for intensive week-end retreats for couples, a singles workshop helping isolated elders to connect and particularly, a focus on women wellness."
How do you help your clients thrive?
"The combination of fitness, yoga, massage, and coaching work together for a complete wellness.
I created a WOMEN ONLY GROUP with a weekly theme designed for the the ever changing lives of women in Fairfield County.
My group themes encompass:
Diverse changes and loss
Women in Transition,
Resurrecting Your Passion
Developing a Strong and Assertive Presence in the Glass Ceiling corporate world.
I have worked with many clients that made formidable life changes both personally and professionally."
I love the stunning view of the falls from your wellness studio!
"The natural beauty and soothing feeling of the falls enhances the atmosphere for clearing issues and expanding self love."
