LUC'S
Owner Hervé Aussavis grew up in Fontainebleau, just outside of Paris before coming to the United States to open with a friend a small café, Le Gamin in Soho, in 1992. After opening a restaurant in Greenwich Village (Les Deux Gamins) and another café in Chelsea, he moved to Ridgefield, CT with his family to open his own café.
Luc’s Café has been in operation since May 2001. It is located in the lower level of one of the oldest buildings in Ridgefield. Its original stone foundation adds to the charm and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The terrace, enclosed with seasonal flowers, is available during the warmer months.
