went to
C. Parker Gallery
in Greenwich, Connecticut
for the opening reception of

"Ron Campbell
Animator of the
Yellow Submarine"

Here is Ron Campbell,
a native of Australia,
who grew up passionately drawing caricatures.

Along came television and other cartoon possibilities
creating many opportunities to put his great skills to work.

"All You Need is LOVE"

Beyond the Beatles,
Ron's storied cartoon history includes
Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, Winnie the Pooh
and many other favorites.
He considers this picture a journey thru his past.
Which character is your favorite?

Numerous people attended the opening reception.

For those that bought his art,
he provided a creative signature.

C. Parker Gallery represents many other distinquished artists,
including Peter Max.
We all were thrilled with this wall of Max.

Fairfield County "It!"

had a fabulous time at
Saugatuck Grain & Grape's

Seasonal Regional Cocktail
collaboration with

Westport Farmers Market
Kawa Ni
SONO Bakery
Litchfield Distillery

Saugatuck Grain & Grape
with its cool vibe,
and fully stocked quality wine and liquor is well worth checking out.
They are deeply committed to the
local "Farm to Fork" movement and conveniently located
along Railroad Ave
in Westport
across from the train station.

master mixologist
Craig Ventrice.

Several cocktails were offered,
mixed with ingredients from the
Westport Farmers Market.

The Westport Farmers Markets purpose is
to provide fresh, local, healthy and seasonal food to its community. They also promote education about local food, local farms, and sustainable, healthy growing practices.

Created by
Paul Newman and
Michel Nischan
in June of 2006,
it has grown to over 45 vendors composed of
GMO free vendors,
organic farmers,
food trucks
pizza,
yoga,
local chef demos,
tamales, and
an eager, hungry lunch crowd.

Litchfield Distillery,
a micro-distillery
from Northwest Connecticut
provided the liquor for the cocktails.

They offered the Batchers' series which included
three handcrafted,
premium spirits:
Batchers' Bourbon Whiskey, Batchers' Double Barreled Bourbon Whiskey, and
Batchers' Gin.

Significantly made from Connecticut grains, I enjoyed a couple sips of the Double Barreled Whiskey.

SONO Bakery
provided an assortment of organically focused
tasty bites.

Maria Lourdes Villas,
co-chair of
"A Taste of Westport"
was one of the crowd.

The fundraiser
benefits
CLASP Homes of Westport
serving people with autism and other developmental disabilities.

It will be held on
May 5, 2016
at the
Westport Inn.

We also met Donny Raus of
Raus Coffee

We were offered his
Cold Roman Expresso
with or without liquor
as the finale
of the event.

He is one of the vendors at the Westport Farmers Market.

A wonderful organic, seasonal, and regional cocktail experience!
