Rockin' with moroccan at the Fez!

Fairfield County It!  
went to

"the Fez" 

a Moroccan restaurant in Stamford, Connecticut

for an entertaining
and tasty evening! 

As you walk through the door of the Fez,
you enter into a deep red,
exotic interior space.

​The Fez offers live music Thursday thru Sunday every week.  

Wednesday's feature "Karaoke with Kristen" and frequently have live belly dancing earlier in the evening with "Tava" pictured below.

They also offer half price bottles of wine on Monday and "Open Mic" on Tuesdays.  

The Fez atmosphere and  selectivity about the entertainment they offer
makes for a really fun evening.   

Did I mention the food?   I had the kebabs (all of them)!

CHICKEN
cubed marinated chicken breast
MERGUEZ
Moroccan lamb sausage
MARINATED LAMB
cubed marinated lamb
VEGGIE AND FALAFEL
peppers, onions, mushrooms and falafel
SHRIMP
marinated shrimp

Each kabob was tasty in its own way and it was fun to have them all at the same time.

A number of us tried the Tagine (we were a table of 20)  

The presentation, as pictured here is delightful and we all enjoyed the suspenseful moment when they exposed what lay underneath (food or a genie?). 

The food was great
and the Moroccan influences makes it special.

"Ramblin Dan Stevens"
in from Memphis, Tennessee.
