had a wonderful time at the
6th Annual Speakers Luncheon featuring comedian

"Ali Wentworth"

at the
Woodway Country Club
in New Canaan to benefit

STAR Inc... Lighting the Way

The luncheon drew a sellout crowd of over 350 people and raised over $45,000 to benefit STAR’s services for infants, children, and adults impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in
Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, Wilton,
and Stamford.

Ali was very entertaining as she discussed dating, marriage,
being a WASP, marrying a Greek,
and parenting!

She has a successful and wide background of experience as a screenwriter, actor, comedian, producer and author.

She is married to
George Stephanopoulus,
political commentator and
news host.

Her stories delighted all
with her tales of dreading their first date and other adventures since their 2001 nuptials.

This year’s luncheon also featured a new, hand-selected vendor boutique and over
$10,000 of donated prizes, including jewelry, luxury handbags, BMW bikes
and scooters,
tickets to a Taylor Swift concert,
and the use of a Tesla for a day!

Fairfield County "It!" had a
blast going to

"Nevertheless She Persisted"

at Love Art Gallery in
South Norwalk, CT.

It is the 2nd Anniversary of the Gallery and an art show dedicated to Women!

Here is owner and artist
Cabell Molina
with her mixed media rendition of Amelia Earhart

We all wanted a painting done of us just like this one because we all
look like her!
Ha!

Here is Cabell with one of the artists and his voluptuous painting.

A great time was had by all.
The exhibit runs through June 1, 2018.

and paired well with the

macaroni and cheese!
