Woodway Country Club
in New Canaan to benefit

STAR Inc... Lighting the Way

​The luncheon drew a sellout crowd of over 350 people and raised over $45,000 to benefit STAR’s services for infants, children, and adults impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in
Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, Wilton,
​and Stamford. 

​Ali was very entertaining as she discussed dating, marriage,
being a WASP, marrying a Greek,
and parenting!

She has a successful and wide background of experience as a screenwriter, actor, comedian, producer and author. 

She is married to
George Stephanopoulus, 
political commentator and
news host. 

​Her stories delighted all
with her tales of dreading their first date and other adventures since their 2001 nuptials.

​​

​This year’s luncheon also featured a new, hand-selected vendor boutique and over
$10,000 of donated prizes, including jewelry, luxury handbags, BMW bikes
and scooters,
tickets to a Taylor Swift concert,
and the use of a Tesla for a day!
