"Culinary Rapture!" the 7th Annual Greenwich Wine & Food Festival!

WINE, FOOD & LIVE MUSIC ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

enjoyed a culinary feast
and great musical talent at the

​Greenwich Wine & Food Festival!

​We started off in the
Grand Tasting Tent
with a delicious Garlic Hummus w/Pita and Vegeables.  

We three enjoyed the earthy combination.

Let the Feast begin!!

At Val's Putnam & Wine
I learned about the invention of the "Gin & Tonic".  

Setting:  India - 1700's.
Quinine was shipped in as a necessary medicine to keep the English troops alive and well.
But hard to swallow.  

​To get it down,
they added some sugar and water.  Light bulb, they decided to add their daily ration of gin!  

Refreshing Greens from B.GOOD! 

I very much enjoyed this kiss from Blue Tulip Chocolates.

Solid milk or dark chocolate
​hand painted lips.

We were happy to bump into Kathie Lee and enjoy her California wine
​GIFFT.

Here we are at the Hamburger Showdown

A local competition
​ for who makes the best burger.
People loved it
and the tent was packed with fans!

offered a cooking demonstration.
