Half Moon Bay at the Ritz-Carlton!

​Fairfield County "It!" recently had the pleasure of enjoying
Half Moon Bay, California at The Ritz-Carlton! 

​The entrance. 

​We savored lunch in the Conservatory choosing a
California themed dining experience. 

Baked Crab Dip
Dungeness Crab, Parmesan, Fine Herbs,Espellete Cracker

Paired with the White House Chardonay "Lioco" from Sonoma

followed by

Crispy Artichoke & Brussels Sprouts
Caper Lemon Aioli 

Half Moon Bay Cioppino 
​Dungeness Crab, Fish Filet, Mussels, Clams, Prawns, Spicy Tomato Broth

Paired with "Altaneve"  Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G

The crisp tight aromatic bubbles were the perfect compliment to the fresh briney seafood stew. 

Cippiono is often thought from Italy but it was invented in nearby
​San Francisco by Italian emigrant fishermen.

​Exquisite dining is also offered in the Navio

​The hallways are elegant.  I loved the rough crystal edged chandeliers!

They offer a wide assortment of rooms and suites with lovely views. 
My favorite room has the private fire pit patio overlooking the
​majestic Pacific Ocean!

Indoor and outdoor event options are available for corporate, wedding or other special occasions.

There are many wonderful things to do in the area. 
Stroll and hang out on the beautiful beach, hike the trails, play golf, explore redwood forests, visit organic farms and wineries,
drive an hour to San Francisco and more. 
Relax and have a fabulous time!
