November 26 - Darien

The 2017 Christmas season will officially begin on Sunday, Nov 26  with the annual lighting of the Darien Sport Shop Christmas tree, a Darien tradition
​for almost 40 years.  
Santa will arrive at 5 p.m.  
The Darien Sport Shop invites residents to get the holidays off to a magical start at its annual event.

December 1 - Wilton

Holiday Stroll + Santa’s Visit to the Wilton Center
December 1, 2017
5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Beginning at 5:30pm, Santa visits Gazebo, to kick off the Holiday Stroll after the lighting of the town tree.
Wilton Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Stroll
Families are invited to stroll through town, which will be decorated with lights, large red bows and Joy banners. Visit the many merchants around our town as they open their doors for holiday cheer, special treats and shopping!

December 1 & 2 - Ridgefield

Holiday Stroll in Downtown Ridgefield:
 December 1, 2017 - December 2, 2017

​Downtown Ridgefield will host its Annual Holiday Stroll on Friday, December 1 at 6 pm and all day on Saturday, December 2, 2016. There will be horse-drawn carriages, musical performances, children's shows, ice-sculpting and more! Bring the entire family and, in the spirit of community, please remember to Shop Ridgefield for all your gift-giving needs!

From 22 stories high above Stamford Downtown, watch and cheer for Santa Claus, Rudolph, Grinch and friends as they make their daredevil descent, twisting and flying from the top of one of Stamford’s tallest buildings, Landmark Square.  Then follow Santa and friends up Bedford Street to Latham Park for an evening of holiday music with the Swingset Mama's and join in the countdown of the annual lighting of Stamford’s Holiday Tree.

December 3  New Canaan

The annual Holiday Stroll December 3 from 10 am - 3 pm has become a family favorite for New Canaan residents and those of our neighboring towns. Held on the weekend after Thanksgiving, downtown New Canaan transforms into something out of a Dickens’s story book.
Saturday includes pictures with Santa at Santa’s workshop, characters roaming the streets, more live entertainment, a Gingerbread House Tour and much more.

Participating shops will stay open late and will offer an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and seasonal refreshments.

Traveling carolers and musicians from local schools will fill the air with holiday cheer, and local restaurants will be offering dinner or drink specials.

The event will also feature a 90-minute ice-sculpting demonstration beginning at 6:00 pm at Sherman Green by world renowned ice carver Bill Covitz of Ice Matters.
