The Fountain of Youth.

​This is the painting above Christy's favorite table at the restaurant.

He lived upstairs in the famous "Hotel des Artistes", which was 
 designed as an artist’s cooperative apartment building in 1918,
the decorative 18-story building has 115 apartments,
double-height living rooms, soaring windows and balcony bedrooms.

Pictured here is the author, Head.

​ He grew up around Washington D.C. and mentioned that Christy painted a number of significant works for the United States government, including the monumental painting of the signing of the Constitution hung in the United States Capitol. 

Head was surprised that so little was written about Christy,
despite his fame during his life, and decided to write a trilogy through the eyes of his model and second wife Nancy Palmer,
who kept significant records of their life together.
